Hi, I'm Kenza - an ordinary girl with extraordinary hair! It has not always been that way though, you see, for years I struggled with my natural hair. You may wonder, how did I go from struggling with my hair to calling it extraordinary? Well, let me tell you!

It all started in 2016 when I visited a hair salon expecting to walk out with smooth, voluptuous flowing hair – you know, the hair you can only seem to get by going to a salon and paying big bucks for. Except when I did leave, I quickly realized that my hair looked and felt like straw.  After this unfortunate outcome burned a hole in my wallet, I decided to take charge and make taking care of my hair a priority. I was determined to find a way to make my hair’s appearance and touch something to be admired. As I began to research, I discovered "clean products," and learned just how toxic the products I was using were for my hair.

 

That following year, a group of my friends and I created a curly community. I was living in Europe at the time and connected with thousands of curly-haired girls across the world thanks to this community that we created. I realized that we all had similar struggles with taming our natural hair, but through sharing our experiences and knowledge about the curly hair struggles, I was about to show my hair who was boss! Once I returned to Canada, I decided to open my store to help the curly community find the best products and empower women to embrace their natural crown, just as I did myself. Now, who’s with me?!
